Make a Gift Through Your Retirement Plans
You may leave a gift to Carolina Tiger Rescue through your IRA, 401K, 403B, or other qualified retirement plan. By naming Carolina Tiger Rescue as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, you will be contributing to the future care of the cats and you will be doing so in a tax-efficient manner.
Many retirement assets have not been subject to income tax, so they are generally taxed when they are withdrawn for distribution. However, if you leave retirement assets to a charity, like Carolina Tiger Rescue, the charity will not have to pay any tax at all.
