Gifts of Other Accounts

You may leave a gift to Carolina Tiger Rescue through various types of financial accounts. “Transfers on Death” and “Payable on Death” are account designations that you can use for non-qualified accounts at most financial institutions.  They apply to accounts such as Brokerage Accounts, CDs, Money Markets, Checking Accounts, etc.  These designations allow you to name beneficiaries and typically bypass the normal estate process, simplifying and lowering costs.  As with life insurance and retirement plans, naming Carolina Tiger as a beneficiary lets you leave a legacy for the cats.
