How Cairo Came to the Sanctuary
Cairo was rescued along with 3 other bobcats, Monaco, Rio, and JJ, from a private owner in Texas. They were brought to Carolina Tiger Rescue by another facility, In-Sync Exotics and did great on the 17 hour trip.

Personality
Cairo has the most confidence out of the 4 bobcats. He loves food and always eats first. He enjoys being perched up on high platforms and watching the happenings of the sanctuary.

Description
Cairo is the largest of all the bobcats that he lives with. His coat is more brown than gray and is the most wild looking of the four. He also is very much aware of how handsome he is.

Where in Sanctuary
Cairo lives off tour, currently, with enclosure mates Rio, Monaco, and JJ. He lives in Pear Orchard next to Molly Bobcat.

Wild Animals as Pets
Wild animals are not pets nor can the wild be loved out of them. Bobcats are also illegal to own in most states because they are native to most states. We are thankful the owner knew the best place for Cairo and the others was at Carolina Tiger Rescue.
