Carolina Tiger Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.
Christmas trees are great enrichment items for the residents of Carolina Tiger Rescue. Because of several gracious supporters, the cats have tons to play with this season! For the past few weeks, the rescue has received dozens of donated Christmas trees. The keepers are starting to pass those out to animals, spraying the trees with scents and stuffing them with pieces of meat! Keeper Larissa explains more:
