High School Community Service
Carolina Tiger Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.
As a precautionary measure, and to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health and well-being of our community, we are currently closed to the public.
While we are still accepting applications to volunteer, know that it might be a few months before orientations are conducted and you can begin volunteering. If your application is on file, you’ll receive monthly updates regarding the status of orientations. If you’d prefer to wait until we reopen to submit your application, please check back or follow us on social media for updates.
Carolina Tiger Rescue offers an opportunity for completing High School Community Service Hours. While volunteering with our gift shop team, you’ll be able to complete as many hours as you need. Your service is a selfless act that directly impacts the lives of the animals here at Carolina Tiger Rescue.
Below you will find a brief job description for our gift shop role. The job descriptions will give you more insight into specific duties, age requirements (16+), and the minimum time requirements. All volunteers under the age of 18 will need to download and print out a copy of our Minor Release Form and have it filled out by your parent or legal guardian. You will be required to have this form with you at the time of your orientation.
“The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.”
