Carolina Tiger Rescue, formerly the Carnivore Preservation Trust, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary whose mission is saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild.
Field Trips
All tours are walking and are guided by a trained volunteer. Your guide will introduce you to tigers and other exotic species of carnivores from as close as 5 feet. You will learn Carolina Tiger Rescue's history, species information, and the story for each animal. The tour will last approximately an hour and a half to two hours, greatly depending on the group's involvement.
Cost
Elementary, Middle, High Schools
$160 minimum for up to 20 people. $8 for each additional person.
College Field Trips
$180 minimum for up to 15 people. $12 for each additional person.
- Field Trips require a $50 deposit, payable by check or credit card, at least 2 weeks prior to the tour date. The deposit becomes non-refundable 48 hours prior to the tour. It will be considered as partial payment towards the total cost of the field trip.
- A minor child release form must be filled out by a parent/legal guardian for each minor before they come for their tour. Adults will be required to fill out a visitor release form when they arrive.
